Incredible view of Taormina and the breathtaking Etna volcano. We were mesmerized by the beauty from the balcony of our room. The location near the ancient castle and church added to the charm.

Pizzeria villa zuccaro was 10 mins walk away. A kitchen available. Nothing bothered me with the hotel. Free Wi Fi in the rooms worked flawlessly.

Fantastic views from the terrace/pool
Rooms were quite outdated, and smelt very strongly of smoke, quite a hike getting down and especially coming back up to the hotel from the centre of Taormina.

Stunning views, helpful staff, clean pool, varied breakfast, quick maintenance response.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

The hotel is beautifully situated up high on the hills of Taormina. Good bus connections which cost nearly nothing but also a fantastic stair case all the way down to the city centre. Good little pool area without sun bathing chairs but with connection to the bar. Helpful staff.
Extremely thin-walled and noisy in the mornings. Every morning the cleaners would walk through the corridors, speaking real loud to wach other, smashing the vacuumers into the doors and finally bang our door whereupon we had to shout no... I also had quite an unusual experience at the bar when having to explain to the 'bartender' whats in a cuba libre and choose the bottle myself from the shelf...hmm

Location simply perfect
Breakfast - horrible, food, even bread was old, pool closed at evenings, bar never works due to short of staff probably, rooms really need some restauration

The location offered spectacular views of the surrounding city and mountains. The hotel had easy access to public transportation and key attractions, which made it a convenient choice for our trip. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel was a bit outdated and lacked some modern amenities. The furniture was old and worn, and the bathrooms could use some updating.

it has a swimmingpool which is nice as the hotel is on a hilltop ie. not easy access to the beach below Taormina. the drinks at the bar are quite cheap (i liked Capuccino freddo). There is a bus stop in from of the hotel so you can easily get to the old city centre of Toarmina as the hotel itself is in Castelmola not in Taormina. tha staff is helpfull
the Hotel is not a 3 star hotel, toilet installations are quite old and the room decoration. we got a room with a window on a wall so it was dark in the room and it was impossible to change for a room with a view even on the back side, but not with a wall view, though there are nicer free rooms with a view. that was quite dissapointing. the breakfast is quite poor and you have to pay extra 7,5. But up there there are no other places to eat breakfast so you need to eat there. 20 minutes of internet costs 4 euros.not easy topark the car on the streets nearby as its steep, though the hotel can offer a car park for 5 euros a day.

Excellent views from both pool and room terrace with the pleasant opportunity to have breakfast by the pool overlooking expansive view to Mount Etna. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Remote location to the centre of Taormina but got fit walking up and down 540 steps into centre. Pool was only open at 9:00am till 6:00pm. Room was very small.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in several ways. the location on top of the hill provided stunning views of the coastline and the town below. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony and taking in the breathtaking scenery. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. Lastly, the room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a nice attention to detail. The affordable price added to the overall value for money that we experienced at this hotel.
All was fine, no complaints.

The fact that there was a private parking lot because the road is so small that 2 cars from opposite directions can't pass each other. The hotel is high up in the mountains on a winding and steep road so best arrive there before darkness falls. The receptionists and the waiter were very friendly and coöperative. There is a nice swimming pool. The view over Taormina is fantastic! Great hotel for people who like to hike.
There was a stale odour in the corridor. The room itself was old fashioned, but with a magnificent view.People arriving after 23 h and other peple leaving at 5 and 6 in the morning made a terrible lot of noise : arguing, yelling... We think the reception should ask the hotel guests to be more quiet between 23 h and 7h or they should put up a sign in the hotel lobby. The hotel is halfway between Taormina and the village in the mountains which has another name which I can't remember right now.The hotel management should also mention the name of the little village in their address as they are officially situated there and not in Taormina. At a certain point the road divides between Taormina and the mountain village and we took the wrong road for Taormina because the address doesn't mention the village. There were no prices on the menu on display in the dining room.

The hotel was not in ther town centre,it was quiet even though the hotel was full.
The doors die nt have a silent locking system. They were banging when used. They need to be replaced.I did not eat in the hotel unfortunately other guests who did were not happy with the meals.
